Description
Wetting agent HY-352
Wetting agent HY-352 is a non-ionic surfactant which is free of APEO and has good solubility in water and good mobility at low temperature. It can effectively improve pigment dispersion, color development performance and gloss of the water-based paint.

Features
1. Low VOC and free of APEO. An ideal environmentally friendly wetting agent
substitution for Alkylphenol.
2. Excellent wetting ability and viscosity reducing effect. Excellent surface wetting properties for various inorganic and organic pigments especially for difficult dispersion system. It can improve compatibility of the pigment with the emulsion. It is helpful to avoid flooding and floating phenomenon. It can improve the color development, stability, storage stability and mechanical stability of the coating.
3. Provide emulsion with good polymerization stability, chemical stability, mechanical stability and feeze-thaw stability, etc.
4. It is soluble in cold water and can be diluted with cold water at room temperature and will not form a gel-like substance.
5. It can improve the wettability of the film to a variety of substrate. Excellent ability to reduce surface tension, dynamic surface tension in particular applied in spray paint. It can wet the substrate quickly and provide a good bonding effect.
Application
HY-352 can be used in water-based paint and colorant.
Usage and Dosage
Wetting agent HY-352 should be added before high-speed dispersion which is helpful for grinding.
A level of 0.1-1.0% calculated on weight of inorganic powders is recommended and
a level of 0.1 to 5.0% calculated on weight of organic powders is recommended.
Package and storage
25kg or 200kg plastic drum.
Wetting agent HY-352 is nontoxic and non-flammable. It is classified as non-dangerous goods when storage and transportation .

Chemical properties: white powder, odorless. Swells with water, easily soluble in caustic soda aqueous solution.
Uses: used as corrosion and scale inhibitors, water quality stabilizers, paint thickeners and water retention agents, flocculants, drilling mud treatment agents, etc. This agent is used for circulating cold water treatment of copper equipment, and its scale inhibition effect is good. When the dosage is 100mg/L, it can form chelate with scale-forming ions in medium hardness water and flow with water, and can prevent the formation of iron oxide scale.
