The main volatile oil in woody wood is sesquiterpene lactone, which can relax smooth muscle, relieve spasm and moderately reduce blood pressure. Woodiness oil is brown sticky volatile oil aroma, with special woodiness and burnt incense, the powder of this product is brownish purple or yellowish brown, soluble in ethanol, most non-chemicalbook volatile oil and mineral oil, insoluble in glycerin and propylene glycol. It is obtained from the dried (shade dried) roots of Coriandrumsativum (Coriandrumsativum), a perennial herb of chamomile, which is crushed and distilled by steam distillation or solvent extraction before the resin-like extract is distilled.
ECHEMI Editorial ReferenceThe oil is obtained in approximately 0.7% yields by steam distillation after maceration in water of the comminuted dried roots. Since the oil contains water-soluble components and has a specific gravity similar to that of water, it is subsequently recovered from the distillation waters by extraction with solvents.
