Application
Midas MID-C102/MID-102L is a mixture of natural polymer and an organic acid.
It is a high temperature retarder which can be used to retard all kind of API classes of cement and is effective in wells with temperature up to 350℉.This additive provides excellent retardation in wells with bottom hole circulating temperature of 350℉
MID-C102/MID-102L has a dispersing effect on the slurry, increases thickening time and decreases the viscosity of the slurry.
The recommended dosage is 0.1% - 0.5% (BWOC) or 0.5-2.0 USGal/SK depending on slurry’s weight, well’s temperature and solids to water ratio. High concentrations of this retarder and inconvenient compound of the slurry may cause the slurry separation.

It can allow cement retardation at high temperatures.
Increasing thickening time and decreasing viscosity of the slurry.
Decreases early compressive strength.
Safety Precautions
Avoid inhalation. In case of contact with eye and skin flush with plenty of water. It is recommended to wear mask during handling.
