Product Overview

L-Isoleucine (Cas No.: 73-32-5) is an essential branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) and one of the three BCAAs alongside L-leucine and L-valine. It is widely produced by microbial fermentation and supplied as white crystalline powder. As an essential amino acid that the human body cannot synthesize on its own, L-isoleucine is widely used in food nutrition fortification, dietary supplements, sports nutrition formulations, infant nutrition and feed additive industries. Character

L-Isoleucine is an essential α-amino acid with a hydrophobic side chain. It is sparingly soluble in water and stable under normal storage conditions. As one of the three branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), it plays an important role in muscle metabolism, protein synthesis and energy regulation. It is produced by microbial fermentation and meets USP/EP/JP monograph requirements.
