    P-nitrobenzaldehyde is benzaldehyde with nitro group in the para-position. Used as a reagent in decarboxylaldehyde reaction catalyzed by lipase and protease in organic cosolvent mixtures.

    P-nitrobenzaldehyde is an important intermediate of medicine, dye and pesticide, and is often used in the pharmaceutical industry to synthesize Thioacetazonum, TMP and inha-17.

    Test aromatic primary amine (according to the melting point of the condensation formed by primary amine and this product), organic synthesis. The product is an intermediate in the organic synthesis of dyes and medicine, used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce p-nitrophenylbutenone (chloramphenicol).

    4-Nitrobenzaldehyde was used in the preparation of homoallylic alcohols. It was also used to develop and evaluate a series of tripeptide organocatalysts.
