2.Physico-chemical Properties

This product is a colorless or yellowish liquid with boiling point of 193℃, flash point (closed cup), melting point of 10℃, density of 1.342 g/mL (25℃), refractive index of 1.532. Dissoluble in water and decomposed in water.Solute in alcohol, ether, easy to absorb tide.

This product is combustible and stimulates to mucosa and skin.

4. Characteristics and uses

Fluobenzyl chloride is an important intermediate in the synthetic fungicide fluororoline, the new potent vasodilator drug "fluorobazine" and the drug "gratifying" in the treatment of senile dementia in the elderly.It is also used to synthesize a novel electroactive polyamide in the backbone azo group with alternative amino-covered anilamide pentamers.Can be used as dye, medicine, pesticide intermediates.
