Phloracetophenone enhances cholesterol 7α-hydroxylase (CYP7A1) activity[1]. Phloracetophenone stimulats bile secretion mediated through Mrp2[2].
2,4,6-Trihydroxyacetophenone (THAP) is a phloroglucinol.
