    Introduction

    Product Name:Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate

    CAS No:7720-78-7

    Formula:FeSO4·7H2O

    Formula Weight:278.05

    Assay:98%

    Fe:≥19.8%

    Insoluble matter:≤0.5%

    Application

98% FeSO4·7H2O Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate on cement and concrete has a retarding effect, less alone play a role and most of the other retarding agent, and most of the other retarding agent compound for additives or synergistic agent.

Ferrous Sulphate FeSO4·7H2O which contains divalent iron (Fe2+) acting as efficient element for reducing harmful hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) to trivalent one (Cr3+) is the most used raw material for decreasing hexavalent chromium in praxis.

Adding 98% FeSO4·7H2O Ferrous Sulphate Heptahydrate into cement will not affect the product property such as bending strength, compressive strength and water solubility etc.

    Method of use

Add about 900PPm Ferrous Sulphate FeSO4·7H2O in the production process of cement magnesium chromium mud, can reduce the hexavalent chromium in cement to 2ppm, and the reduction performance is quite stable. If it is the super chromium cement that has been produced, we can still add ferrous sulfate to mix and use it together, and it can also have a certain removal effect on chromium salt. It is believed that the use of ferrous sulfate will bring health to more people.

Various hydrates occur naturally - most commonly the heptahydrate, which loses water to form the tetrahydrate at 57℃ and the monohydrate at 65℃. It has a role as a reducing agent. It is a metal sulfate and an iron molecular entity. It contains an iron(2+).|Iron deficiency anemia is a large public health concern worldwide, especially in young children, infants, and women of childbearing age. This type of anemia occurs when iron intake, iron stores, and iron loss do not adequately support the formation of erythrocytes, also known as red blood cells. Ferrous sulfate is a synthetic agent used in the treatment of iron deficiency. It is the gold standard of oral iron therapy in the UK and many other countries.|Iron is an essential heavy metal that is included in many over-the-counter multivitamin and mineral supplements and is used therapeutically in higher doses to treat or prevent iron deficiency anemia. When taken at the usual recommended daily allowance or in replacement doses, iron has little or no adverse effect on the liver. In high doses and in intentional or accidental overdoses, iron causes serious toxicities, one component of which is acute liver damage.
