Description

Calcium formate is an organic substance with molecular formula c2h2o4ca. It is a white crystalline or crystalline powder. It is soluble in water, does not deliquesce and has good fluidity. As feed additive, it is suitable for all kinds of animals and has the effects of acidification, mildew prevention and antibacterial.

As a new feed additive, calcium formate is suitable for weaned piglets. The nutritional effect of calcium formate is mainly realized by its formic acid decomposed in gastric acid environment. It mainly improves the growth performance of weaned piglets in the following ways:
1. Reducing the pH of gastrointestinal tract is conducive to activating Pepsinogen, making up for the deficiency of digestive enzyme and hydrochloric acid secretion in piglet stomach, and improving the digestibility of feed nutrients.
2. Maintain a low pH value in the gastrointestinal tract, so as to prevent the massive growth and reproduction of Escherichia coli and other pathogenic bacteria, and promote the growth of some beneficial bacteria chemicalbooks (such as Lactobacillus)! It produces volatile fatty acids in the cecum and nodes and acts as antibiotics! In addition, beneficial bacteria such as lactobacillus can cover the intestinal mucosa! Protect it from toxins produced by Escherichia coli! So as to prevent diarrhea related to bacterial infection.
3. It can act as a chelating agent in the process of digestion! It can promote the intestinal absorption of minerals, improve the energy utilization of natural metabolites, improve the feed conversion rate, prevent diarrhea and dysentery, and improve the survival rate and daily weight gain of piglets. At the same time, calcium formate has the effect of anti mildew and fresh-keeping.
