Palmitoyl tripeptide-28 is a peptide ingredient based on TGF-β (Transforming growth factor beta) that mimics cytokine's action binding with specific receptors (TGF beta receptor 2) on fibroblast membrane stimulating extracellular matrix (ECM) components production. In addition, it inhibits metalloproteinases (MMPs) responsible for collagen degradation.

Besides collagen, Palmitoyl tripeptide-28 also stimulates the production of special molecules called integrins, which improves cells' adhesion to the extracellular matrix. Moreover, it increases the synthesis of proteases (enzymes breaking down proteins) inhibitors additionally enhancing collagen and elastin quantities.

Boosting extracellular matrix regeneration and adhesion, Palmitoyl tripeptide-28 smooths, firms, and refreshes the skin, exposing a healthy and youthful appearance. It is used in Inifinitec's peptide-based complexes EMC Moduline and Sapphire Lift.
