• Nicotinamide ribose (NR) is a derivative of vitamin B3 and a precursor substrate of NAD+. It can increase NAD + levels after ingestion.

• NR is a precursor of NAD. In human body, nicotinamide purine dinucleoside (NAD) is an important substance that provides energy for cells.
