Special performance of PHA(PHBV) material:

ENMAT Y1000P PHA(PHBV) granule polymer is a thermoplastic resin that can be used in injection molding, thermoforming and extrusion. PHBV is made by bacterial fermentation and is 100% biobased and 100% biodegradable. This material is heat-resistant up to 160ºC.

PHBV can be blended with other biopolymers such as PLA, starch based polymers or synthetic biobased polyesters. In contrary to the granular form (Product code: ENMAT Y1000P), this powder doesn't contain any nucleating agent to induce crystallinity.

Blending with PHBV leads to a better flexibility and improved temperature resistance.

Available in 25kg bags.
