Product Detail

Chemical properties: triethylenetetramine is a light yellow viscous liquid with strong alkalinity and moderate viscosity, with an ammonia odor. Its volatility is lower than that of diethylenetriamine, but other properties are similar. Soluble in water and ethanol, slightly soluble in ether. The aqueous solution exhibits strong alkalinity. In addition to being used as a solvent, it is also used to manufacture epoxy resin curing agents, rubber additives, emulsifiers, surfactants, lubricant additives, fuel oil cleaning dispersants, gas purifiers, cyanide free chemical book electroplating dispersants, brighteners, descaling agents, softeners, metal chelators, as well as synthetic polyamide resins and ion exchange resins. Usage: Used in the synthetic resin industry as a curing agent for epoxy resins and in the manufacturing of polyamide resins and ion exchange resins. The rubber industry is used to manufacture rubber accelerators. The electroplating industry is used to manufacture cyanide free electroplating diffusers and brighteners. Used as a dispersant for oil purification in the refining industry. The grease industry is used to manufacture lubricant additives.
