    Triphenyl phosphate (TPP), a phosphorus-containing compound, is a type of halogen-free environmentally friendly flame retardant that can dissolve in organic solvents. Its molecular formula is OP(OC6H5)3.

    It appears as white, odorless crystalline powder with slight hygroscopicity. Its vapor pressure is 0.01kPa/20℃, flash point is 220℃, melting point is 47-53℃, and boiling point is 370℃.

    It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohols, soluble in benzene, chloroform, and acetone, and readily soluble in ether.
