Brief Introduction:

Glabridin is a flavonoid extracted from a precious plant called Glycyrrhiza glabra. Glabridin is known as "whitening gold" for its powerful whitening effect, which can eliminate free radicals and melanin at the bottom of the skin. It is a holy thing for skin whitening and anti-aging.

Dissolution Methods:

1. Heat polyol (such as butanediol, propylene glycol) to 60℃ and dissolve before adding;
2. Heat ethoxydiglycol to 60℃ and dissolve before adding;
3. Heat polar oil (such as GTCC, IPM) and dissolve, and add before the main material cools down (do not keep the temperature above 80℃ for a long time);

Formula Suggestions:

1. Antioxidants (such as Tocopherol Acetate: 0.1%~0.5%, Ergothioneine: 0.01%~0.05%) can be added to the formula to protect the activity of Glabridin;

2. Penetration enhancers (such as Dimethyl Isosorbide: 0.5%~1%, Inositol: 0.5%~1%) can be added to the formula to promote transdermal absorption;

3. It can be synergistic with other whitening agents (such as 3-O-Ethyl-L-ascorbic acid, Niacinamide, Nonapeptide-1).

Recommended Addition Amount:

0.01% ~ 0.1%

Cream, Lotion, Blemish Balm Cream, Cosmetic Air Cushion, Foundation, etc.

Storage & Precautions:

1. Store in a cool place, away from heat and direct sunlight;

2. Glabridin has whitening and freckle removal effects, but does not have a sunscreen effect. Therefore, it is recommended to use it with sunscreen products or avoid direct sunlight when used during the day to prevent the skin from being sunburned by ultraviolet rays.
