PROFILE
LR-1220 is a solvent-free resin with a bis-secondary amine structure, capable of binding with polyisocyanates.
PROPERTY
1. Features high solids content and low viscosity, enabling the formulation of environmentally friendly coatings with high solid content and low viscosity (up to 100% solids during application).
2. Exhibits high reactivity, achieving surface dryness within 2 minutes when cured with HDI trimer, significantly improving production efficiency.
3. Delivers coatings with excellent film build, leveling properties, and high gloss.
4. The film demonstrates outstanding weatherability, low-temperature flexibility, water resistance, solvent resistance, acid/alkali resistance, and salt spray resistance.
5. Offers high hardness (up to 2H) and exceptional abrasion resistance (wear loss ≤ 20 mg at 500r/750g load).
6. Provides excellent adhesion to plastics (e.g., ABS, PC, PVC) and various metallic substrates.
7. Compatible with most hydroxyl-acrylic resins and cellulose acetate butyrate (CAB).
8. Versatile formulation options:
9. When combined with flexible curing agents, produces elastomeric materials with superior mechanical properties (elongation at break: 400%; tensile strength: 25 MPa).
10. When blended with rigid curing agents or HDI trimer/dimer, forms rigid coatings with hardness up to 2H.
11. Suitable for use as a chain extender and primary resin in the R-component of Spray Polyurea Elastomers (SPUA).
