Product Detail

Apricot alkaloids are a group of compounds derived from plants in the apricot family that have a variety of medicinal properties, such as anti-anxiety and anti-addiction properties. Mesembrine is a representative alkaloid of the almond family with CAS number 468-53-1, chemical formula C17H23NO3 and molecular weight 289.37. Physical properties include a density of approximately 1.133±0.06 g/cm3 (predicted value), a boiling point of approximately 419.2±45.0 °C (predicted value), a slightly soluble solubility in both chloroform and methanol, a slick appearance, colorless to pale yellow color, and recommended storage conditions in a refrigerator at -20°C.
