Product Introduction:
Wolfberry is a perennial shrub that grows on the edge of loess ditches and hillsides with deep soil layers. Wildly distributed in the Loess Plateau and foothills of the Yellow River from Qinghai to Shanxi. Wild Chinese wolfberry is of inferior quality and has been rarely harvested. Its medicinal products are mostly cultivated.
Active ingredient: Lycium barbarum polysaccharides is a water-soluble polysaccharide. It has been confirmed that this polysaccharide is a proteoglycan with a molecular weight of 22~25kD and consists of six monosaccharides: arabinose, glucose, galactose, mannose, xylose and rhamnose.

Betaine: The chemical name is 1-carboxy-N, N, N-trimethylaminoglycolide, which is similar in chemical structure to amino acids and belongs to the quaternary amine base group. Betaine is one of the main alkaloids in the fruits, leaves, and stems of Chinese wolfberry. The effect of lycium barbarum on lipid metabolism or anti fatty liver is mainly caused by its betaine content, which acts as a methyl donor in the body. The research on lycium betaine is limited to domestic research on content determination, extraction technology, and physiological effects on lycium plants (enhancing salt tolerance). There are few studies on the pharmacological effects of lycium betaine.
Lycium barbarum pigment: Lycium barbarum pigment is a variety of chromogenic substances present in the berries of Lycium barbarum, and is an important physiological active component of Lycium barbarum seeds. It mainly includes~carotene, lutein, and other colored substances. The carotenoids contained in Chinese wolfberry have very important medicinal value. Many studies have proved that Lycium barbarum seed pigment can improve human immune function, prevent and suppress tumor and prevent atherosclerosis. Carotene is the main active component of Lycium barbarum pigment, which has important physiological functions such as antioxidation and acting as a precursor for vitamin A synthesis.
