  4-Chloro-3,5-dimethyl is a white crystalline powder. Melting point 115-116 ºC, boiling point 246 ºC. At 20 ºC, 1g can be dissolved in 3L water, 1 part of 95% alcohol, ether, benzene, terpenes, non-volatile oils. It has a slight smell and can volatilize with water vapor. Stable in hot water.

  
  

  Application
  

  1 Antiseptic, fungicide. Used in emulsions, cosmetics, ink, plywood, plastics, as a plastic mildew-proof agent, especially suitable for hard and semi-hard PVC sheet, artificial leather, etc. Good heat and weather resistance, less water extraction, strong persistence in the resin, the general dosage of 2%. The product has low toxicity. The oral LD50 of mice was 3450mg/kg.

  2 It can be used for various antibacterial treatment processes, such as leather antibacterial treatment, paper antibacterial treatment, textile antibacterial and mildew treatment and photo antibacterial and mildew treatment.
