Glufosinate-ammonium, also known as glufosinate, is a non-selective foliar spray organophosphate herbicide, which was first synthesized and developed by the Hoechst chemical company of Germany in 1979. The weeding mechanism of glufosinate-ammonium is that after absorption by the leaves, it has a partial systemic effect, which can be transferred from the base of the leaf to the end, and less transferred to other parts of the plant, which is harmless to ununearthed shoots and seeds. The ammonium metabolism in plants was disordered in a short period of time after application, and strong cytotoxic ammonium ions accumulated in plants. Poisoning plants to death. At the same time, photosynthesis is also seriously inhibited, and the affected plants are yellowish-white after losing green, and begin to wither and die after 2~5 days. It loses its activity after contact with the soil, and should only be sprayed on stems and leaves after seedlings. This information was edited by Chemicalbook Yaoyao (2015-08-04). Application: Glufosinate-ammonium is mainly used for orchards, vineyards, potato fields, nurseries, forest forests, pastures, ornamental shrubs and no-cultivated land for biogenal weeding, and to control annual and perennial grass weeds, such as Mai Niang, wild oats, horsetail, barnyard grass, dogtail grass, early maturing grass, creeping ice grass, dogtooth root, sheared strand ying, reed, fescue, etc. It can also control broad-leaved weeds such as quinoa, amaranth, knotweed, camellia, nightshade, chickweed, purslane, pig disaster, bitter endive, field thistle, field spindle, dandelion, etc., and also has a certain effect on sedges and ferns. When the broad-leaved grass is sprayed on the weed population at the beginning of vigorous growth and the beginning of grasses weeds tillering, the grass control period is 4~6 weeks, and the pesticide can be applied again if necessary, which can significantly extend the validity period. Potato fields should be applied before budding, or sprayed before harvest to kill stubble on the ground and facilitate harvesting. To control ferns, the dosage per hectare is 1.5~2 kg. Generally, it is used alone, and sometimes it can be mixed with cimazine, diuron or 2-methyl-4-chloride.  Product Detail
