Product Descriptions:

Crospovidone is often called as crosslinked PVP, or insoluble PVP. It appears as white or light yellow, free flowing hygroscopic powder, odorless or with faint characteristic odor. It is insoluble in water, alkali, acid and common organic solvents. It has strong swellability and can complex with polyphenols, carboxylic acid and other compounds with low molecular weight.

Packing and Storage:

20kg/drum,it should be reserved in dry place under th e room temperature and avoid sunshine.

Application:

PVPP belongs to insoluble cross polymer, it has special netty capability structure and also repair the application limitation of PVP excellent solubility. It is not soluble in acid, alkali and common organic solvent, PVP is opposite. PVPP has good physiological security, water absorption, insolubility and complexation capabilities. It can be widely used in pharmaceutical, food, personal care, feed field, etc.

In the biological pharmaceutical field: 

PVPP has good physiologic inertia and biological compatibility characteristics. It can be used as disintegration agent, medicine slow-releasing carrier and hemodialysis film, etc. After PVPP absorb water and it makes tablet(capsule) bear very high pressure, then disintegrate small incalculable grain, it improved biological availability of body.

In the brewing and beverage industry:

PVPP has very strong adsorption ability, it can eliminate anthocyanin and polyphenol, maintain the taste, also can improve the clarity, color, extend the shelf life.

In personal care industry:

PVPP can be used as moisture-preserving agent of top grade cosmetics, it can moisten the skin, maintain the aroma, ease pain and decrease pungency. In the toothpaste PVPP can clear the mouth, diminish inflammation.
