Polybutylene succinate (PBSA) is a polymer compound with the simple structure of H-[O(CH2)4OOC(CH2)2CO]n-OH. It is a white semi-crystalline polymer. Soluble in chloroform, slightly soluble in tetrahydrofuran, almost insoluble in water, methanol or ethanol.
