Background In recent years, the production of lithium-ion batteries has grown rapidly, and the application fields have been continuously expanded. According to market research, the demand for lithium-ion batteries will reach about 1.35 billion by 2010. It has become a high-tech product with important significance to the national economy and people's lives in the 21st century. 1.3 Propane sultone (PS) is a basic functional additive for preparing lithium-ion secondary electrolytes. Its purity directly affects the quality of the electrolyte. The purity of PS sold in the domestic market is mostly around 99.5%, which does not meet the battery grade requirements (purity> 99.9%). Preparation: (1) Dissolve calcium chloride in deionized water and stir until the solid is dissolved to obtain a calcium chloride solution with a mass concentration of 15%; add citric acid to the calcium chloride solution and continue stirring until the solid is dissolved to obtain a mixed solution A; wherein the mass ratio of the calcium chloride to the citric acid is 5:0.3; (2) Dissolve sodium polyacrylate in deionized water and stir to obtain a sodium polyacrylate solution with a mass concentration of 3%, and slowly add it to the mixed solution A obtained above, and stir at 3000 rpm for 30 minutes after the addition is completed to obtain a mixed solution B; wherein the dropping speed of the sodium polyacrylate solution is 1 ml/L; the mass ratio of sodium polyacrylate to calcium chloride is 0.1:1; (3) Prepare a sodium carbonate solution with a mass concentration of 20%, and then quickly add the mixed solution B obtained above to a sodium carbonate solution, stir and precipitate at 5000 rpm, filter after the precipitation is completed, wash the precipitate with deionized water, and dry to obtain porous calcium carbonate; (4) Mix perbenzoic acid and deionized water The mixture was stirred at 50°C until the solid dissolved, and then porous calcium carbonate was added, and the mixture was immersed for 3 hours, and then cooled to room temperature and dried to obtain a catalyst; wherein the mass ratio of peroxybenzoic acid to porous calcium carbonate was 1:15; (5) sodium allyl sulfonate and sulfuric acid solution were mixed and added to a three-necked flask, and stirred at a stirring speed of 1500 rpm for 10 minutes, and then the catalyst prepared above was added, and the temperature was slowly raised to 80°C, and the mixture was stirred for 1 hour. After the reaction was completed, the mixture was cooled to room temperature, and an ethanol solution of sodium hydroxide was added. , stirring and mixing for 30 minutes, then adding hydrochloric acid to acidify, to obtain 3-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid; wherein the mass ratio of the sodium allyl sulfonate to the catalyst is 10:1; and in the ethanol solution of sodium hydroxide, the mass ratio of sodium hydroxide to ethanol is 5:15; (6) adding the above-prepared 3-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid and n-hexane to a three-necked flask, stirring and reacting at 100°C and 3000 rpm for 3 hours, cooling to room temperature after the reaction is completed, and distilling under reduced pressure to obtain the target product 1,3-propane sultone.
