Slovent naphtha

Naphtha is mainly used as a raw material for cracking, catalytic reforming, and ammonia production, and can also be used as a chemical raw material and general solvent. Naphtha, also known as "petroleum English", "crude gasoline", "straight run gasoline", is a light petroleum product derived from Persian language, referring to volatile petroleum products, generally referring to the fraction between 30-220 ℃. Narrowly defined naphtha, also known as light naphtha, refers to straight run gasoline fractions with an initial boiling point up to 130 ℃. Since the 1960s, with the development of the petrochemical industry, naphtha has become an important raw material for the production of ethylene, propylene, benzene, toluene, and xylene through tube furnace cracking. As a cracking raw material, it is required that the content of alkanes and cycloalkanes in the composition of naphtha should not be less than 70% by volume. When heavy naphtha is used as a catalytic reforming feedstock for producing high octane gasoline components, the feed is a broad fraction with a boiling point range of generally 80-180 ℃; When used for producing aromatic hydrocarbons, the feed is a narrow fraction with a boiling point range of 60-165 ℃.
