During formulation, the polymer hydrogel should be dispersed uniformly in the agitated water to ensure adequate contact. Heating the water (below 60 degrees Celsius) can accelerate dissolution, which takes about 3-15 minutes. Due to the viscous nature of PAM, the work area should be rinsed frequently to keep it clean.
