Product Detail

Petroleum resin is the by-product of petroleum cracking C5, C9 distillate, pre-treatment, polymerization, distillation and other processes produced a thermoplastic resin, it is not a high polymer, They are oligomers with molecular weights between 300 and 3000. It has low acid value, good miscibility, water resistance, ethanol resistance and chemical resistance, chemical stability to acid and base, and It has the characteristics of adjusting viscosity and good thermal stability. Petroleum resins are generally not used alone, but as accelerators, regulators, modifiers and other resins used together.

Performance

It has low aromatic content and has excellent compatibility with many polymers.

Enhances all the performance parameters(including: weather resistance.improved adhesion

and processing performance,etc.) for HMPSA and HMA.

Can be blended to customer requirements with other materials and different resins to

improve adhesive performance.

The molecular weitht distribution and amount of aromatics can be tailored toprovide an

optimal tack/cohesion balance in SIS-Based HMPSA.

Especially suitable for the manufacturing of high quality HM OPP tapes.

Allows the production of light colored-film tapes as well as colored HMPSA tapes.

Pelletized forms of resins may block or lump in hot weather climates or if stored near heat

sources. Inside storage is recommended and keep at temperature not exceeding 30ºC. The usdful

life of this produce can be affected by storage and handling conditions. When stroed in the

original unopened container in and enclosed area and protected from moisture, extreme

temperatures and contamination, the shelf life of this product is estimated to contunue to meet

applicable sales specifications for 24 months from the date of manufacture. Shelf life is a guide

not an absolute value. The product shoule be reanaluzed for critical properties at the end of its

shelf life to see if it meets specification for use.

The resin is packaged in internally film-coated polypropylene woven bags. The net weight is 25Kg/bag.
