Slightly hygroscopic, slightly bitter taste. Neutral, non-toxic, soluble in water. Aqueous solution is neutral. Calcium Formate solubility with temperature change is not big, at 0 ℃when the 16 g / 100 g water, 100 ℃for 18.4 g / 100 g of water. Specific gravity: 2.023 (20 ℃), bulk density, 900-1000 - g/L. Heat decomposition temperature > 400 ℃.
