Coco-alkyl primary amine is a commonly used organic compound with the following properties:

Physical properties: Coco-alkyl primary amine is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with an oil-like odor and feel. It is insoluble in water and soluble in most organic solvents.

Chemical properties: Coco-alkyl primary amines belong to the primary amine class of compounds, containing fatty acid alkyl groups. It has good surface activity properties and can reduce the surface tension between water and oil, and is widely used in synthetic detergents, emulsifiers, foaming agents, lubricants and other fields.
It can be used as a softener and antistatic agent to enhance the softness and antistatic properties of textiles, paper, leather, etc. It is also widely used in the preparation of agricultural pesticides.

Preparation method: Coco-alkyl primary amine can be prepared by the reaction of fatty acids with amino compounds (such as ammonia, ethanolamine, etc.) at appropriate temperature and pressure. During the preparation process, fatty acids and amino compounds are combined through amide bonds to form fatty acid alkyl primary amines.
