    Manganese Dioxide


    The difference between high-purity manganese dioxide and electrolytic manganese dioxide
    1、 Differences in raw materials
    Electrolytic manganese dioxide
    Manganese sulfate solution 34 is prepared by mixing manganese ore (such as carbonate manganese ore and oxide manganese ore) as the core raw material with auxiliary materials such as pyrite and sulfuric acid. The purity requirements for manganese ore are relatively loose, and impurity control is concentrated in the electrolysis process to achieve 48.
    High purity manganese dioxide
    Using high-purity raw materials (such as hematite, iron content ≤ 0.03%) or manganese containing waste residue, strict screening and pretreatment (such as crushing to below 200 mesh) are carried out to ensure low impurities in the initial raw materials. Some processes require the use of reagents such as ferrous chloride and ammonia water for ion exchange or precipitation purification.
    2、 Comparison of Manufacturing Processes
    Electrolytic manganese dioxide
    Core process:
    Leaching reaction: Manganese ore reacts with sulfuric acid to form manganese sulfate solution (temperature 85-90 ℃, reaction time 3-4 hours) 38
