What is Meloxicam ?

Meloxicam, an enol nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effects. Selective inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), weak inhibition of cyclooxygenase-1, so the digestive system and other adverse reactions. It is suitable for the symptomatic, swelling, soft tissue inflammation, traumatic pain and post-operative pain in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Function and Application

1. Function of Meloxicam
  
  Older patients and patients with an increased risk of adverse reactions;
  
  In elderly patients, patients with rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis treatment recommended dose for
  7.5mg/days. Starting dose in patients with increased risk of adverse reactions to 7.5mg/days.
  
  Patients with renal insufficiency:
  
  Patients with severe renal failure and need dialysis, the dose should not exceed 7.5mg/days.
  
  Patients with mild to moderate renal insufficiency do not need to adjust the dosage (such as patients with creatinine
  clearance greater than 25ml/minutes).
  
  Patients with severe renal failure without dialysis.
  
  Patients with hepatic insufficiency: In patients with mild and moderate hepatic insufficiency no need to adjust the dose.
  In patients with severe hepatic insufficiency.
  
  Children: This product is not for use in children under 15 years of age. Meloxicam has other forms, may apply.
  
  Application of Meloxicam
  
  Used to treat symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and painful osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease, bone and joint
