Function & Application 

Amoxicillin can be used to treat typhoid, other salmonella infections and typhoid carriers with satisfactory results. The treatment of urinary tract infection caused by sensitive bacteria that do not produce β-lactamase also obtained good curative effect. For patients with lower urinary tract infection and non-enzymic Neisseria gonorrhoeae urethritis and cervicitis, a single oral dose of 3g can obtain satisfactory curative effect. Ear, nose and throat infections, respiratory tract infections and skin soft tissue infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus without penicillinase, hemolytic streptococcus and Haemophilus influenzae without βlactamase were all indications.
