1. Safe and non-irritating: This product has a structure similar to natural phospholipids and is extremely mild in nature, causing almost no irritation to the skin and eyes. It is an ideal emulsifier for creams and ointments.
2. Excellent emulsifying, solubilizing and dispersing properties: It can emulsify various oil phases including silicone oil.
3. Low surface tension, rich and fine foam, moderate decontamination and washing performance: When used, it produces rich and fine milky foam, which is easy to wash off. The skin feels extremely good after cleaning, refreshing, clean and not tight, feeling extremely comfortable.
4. Excellent moisturizing performance: When cleansing the skin, it can give the skin a soft, smooth and refreshing feeling. It has obvious anti-static and softening effects, and is also suitable for use as an additive in shampoos, hair care products, and fabric fiber finishing agents.
5. Resistance to acids, alkalis and salts: When phosphate esters are stored for 12 months under pH=2 conditions, their decomposition rate is less than 10%. It will not deteriorate if stored for one year or longer in neutral or slightly acidic conditions.
6. Good biodegradability: The biodegradation of alkyl phosphate esters is similar to that of sodium alkyl alcohol sulfate, capable of decomposing into carbon dioxide and phosphate ions. For instance, the biodegradation rate of didecyl phosphate esters approaches 100% after 10 to 15 days, while that of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate is less than 20%.
7. Low toxicity: Potassium phosphate esters are low-toxicity substances. The LD50/(mg/kg) for mice is 74,000, and for fish, it is 3,400 to 12,800.
Usage and dosage:
1. Application: It is particularly suitable for formulating the currently widely popular foaming facial cleansers and foaming facial cleansers on the market. It is also applicable for formulating medium and high-end low-irritation cleaning and hygiene products such as refreshing and smooth body washes, shampoos, foaming facial cleansers, body washes, hand washes, as well as mild infant care products, children's bath and shampoo products.
2. MAPK's resistance to hard water is slightly inferior to that of other anionic surfactants. Therefore, when formulating, it is necessary to pay attention to adding anti-hard water agents (such as EDTA) or hard-water-resistant surfactants (such as sulfobetaine) in combination with it to bring out its excellent performance.
3. Recommended dosage: Foam facial cleanser: 10-50%, body wash: 8-15%.
