Iron Oxide Pigment Orange for Coloring Asphalt Cement Bricks

Iron Oxide Orange is an orange-red powdery inorganic pigment, mainly composed of a mixture of iron oxide and iron hydroxide. It has good hiding power and weather resistance, and is often used for coloring in coatings, paints, plastics, building materials and other fields.

(1) Coating and paint industry: It is a common colorant in architectural coatings (such as exterior wall latex paints), industrial paints (for metal surfaces, mechanical equipment), and wood paints. It provides stable orange-red tones and enhances the paint's resistance to sunlight, rain, and temperature changes.

(2) Plastic and rubber industry: Used for coloring plastic products (like plastic pipes, containers, daily-use plastics) and rubber products (such as rubber hoses, seals). It does not easily fade due to high temperatures during processing or long-term use, ensuring the color stability of products.

(3) Building materials field: Added to cement products (including colored cement, concrete blocks, floor tiles) and ceramic glazes to give building materials an orange-red appearance, and it can resist the erosion of the external environment to maintain the color of building surfaces for a long time.

(4) Other fields: It is also used in coloring paper (such as decorative paper, wrapping paper), ink (for packaging printing), and artificial stones, and can act as a colorant in some cosmetic products (with strict compliance with safety standards).

(1) Coloring function: It imparts stable orange-red hues to substrates such as coatings, plastics, building materials, and inks. The color does not easily fade due to external factors like light, heat, or chemicals, ensuring long-term color consistency of products.

(2) Protective function: When added to coatings or building materials, it enhances the substrate's resistance to weathering (e.g., UV radiation, rain, temperature fluctuations) and chemical corrosion, slowing down material aging and extending the service life of products.

(3) Performance enhancement function: It improves the hiding power of coatings and paints, reducing the number of application layers needed; in plastic processing, it helps maintain color stability even under high-temperature conditions, without affecting the basic mechanical properties of plastics.
