Lithium Stearate is a white powdery organolithium compound, commonly used as a heat stabilizer and lubricant for plastics, a vulcanization accelerator for rubber, and also applied in the preparation of lubricating greases as well as in the cosmetics and coating fields.

3. Application

(1) Plastics Industry: It acts as a heat stabilizer and lubricant, preventing plastics from thermal degradation during processing and use, while improving processing fluidity.

(2) Rubber Industry: It is used as a vulcanization accelerator to speed up the rubber vulcanization reaction and enhance the mechanical properties and production efficiency of rubber products.

(3) Lubricating Grease Field: It is a key raw material for the preparation of lithium-based lubricating greases, endowing the greases with excellent high-temperature resistance, water resistance, and lubricating performance.

(4) Other Fields: In cosmetics, it can be used as a thickener and stabilizer; in the coating industry, it can improve the leveling property of coatings. It is also applied in textile, metal processing, and other scenarios.
