Caprylic /Capric Triglyceride(MCT)

Glyceryl Caprylate, also known as GTCC, is a m ixed triester of glycerol and medium-carbon fatty acids found in vegetable oils. It is a colorless, odorless, low-viscosity, lipophilic emollient with extremely high antioxidant properties. In cosmetics, GTCC can replace various oils as an emollient and refatting agent. It can also be added as a carrier and diluent to active ingredients or conditioning agents such as sterols. Cosmetics using GTCC eliminate the need for antioxidants and other stabilizers, without causing adverse side effects.

GTCC is widely used in sunscreens, creams, and lotions; after-sun creams and lotions; hair grooming oils, creams, and pomades for shine, smoothness, and manageability; bath oils; skin care oils and lotions; facial cleansers, creams, and lotions; baby skin care oils, creams, and lotions; and cosmetic creams, sticks, and medications. It lubricates and enhances the skin's appearance, facilitating easy absorption of nutrients and contributing to the smooth, even application of cosmetics. Caprylic/capric triglyceride (GTCC) has a low viscosity and can be used as a base for moisturizing agents, a stabilizer for cosmetics, an antifreeze agent, and a homogenizer. It can also be used in lipsticks, lip balms, and shaving creams to improve the dispersibility and gloss of cosmetics. GTCC is a high-purity oil esterified from caprylic/capric acid and glycerol. It is an excellent moisturizing oil with excellent spreadability, leaving the skin feeling smooth and non-greasy, and easily absorbed by the skin. It plays a significant role in the uniform and delicate application of cosmetics, leaving the skin smooth and shiny. Caprylic/capric triglyceride can be used as a base for moisturizing agents, a stabilizer for cosmetics, an antifreeze agent, and a homogenizer. Caprylic/capric triglyceride has excellent emulsifying properties, oil solubility, extensibility, and lubricity. It is resistant to high temperatures, maintains little viscosity after prolonged cooking and frying, and is not easily oxidized. 1. It is used as an oil base for emulsified flavors to produce low-viscosity and highly stable dairy flavors. It can be formulated in either W/O or O/W configurations. 2. Used as an emulsifier in dairy products, cold drinks, soy milk, solid beverages, and liquid beverages. Combined with soy lecithin, it can rapidly dissolve milk powder in cold water. 3. Used in gum base formulations to improve softness.
