    1. Product Attributes
    Chemical name: 4-chloro-3-ethyl-1-methyl-N-{[4-(4-methylphenoxy)phenyl]methyl}-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide
    Formula/Molecular weight: C₂₁H₂₂ClN₃O₂ / 383.9
    CAS number: 129558-76-5
Physical and chemical properties: White crystalline powder; melting point 87.8–88.2°C; insoluble in water (0.087 mg/L, pH=7, 20°C), soluble in organic solvents such as toluene and ethyl acetate.
Category: Pyrazole insecticide and acaricide (mitochondrial electron transport chain complex I inhibitor, METI)
Mode of action: Mainly contact killing, also stomach poison, ovicidal, antifeedant, and oviposition inhibitory; no systemic activity.
Spectrum of control: Broad spectrum, highly effective against Lepidoptera (small cabbage moth, beet armyworm), Hemiptera (thrips, aphids, leafhoppers, whiteflies), Acari (rust mites, spider mites), scale insects, leaf miners, etc.; especially effective against eggs, larvae, and nymphs.
    Key features:
Resistance management tool: No cross-resistance with conventional pesticides.
Long-lasting effect: One application lasts 20–30 days.
Rainfastness: Rainfall within 2 hours after spraying does not significantly affect efficacy.
Also exhibits fungicidal activity: Has some inhibitory effects on powdery mildew, downy mildew, rust disease, etc.
Toxicity: Moderate toxicity; highly toxic to bees, fish, silkworms.
    2. Usage Instructions
    3. Common formulations and dosage (using 15% suspension concentrate as an example)
For controlling thrips, small cabbage moth, tea green leafhopper, aphids, scale insects, rust mites, psyllids, and leaf miners: 30–50 mL per acre, mixed with 15–30 kg of water for spray.
For controlling citrus rust mites, psyllids, and leaf miners: 40–60 mL per acre, focusing on spraying the undersides of leaves and fruits.
For controlling eggplant/yardlong bean/roses thrips: 50–80 mL per acre, apply before or after flowering.
    4. Timing and method of application
Best timing: Peak hatching period of eggs to early instars (1st-2nd instars); apply early when pest density is low to disrupt reproduction.
Application method: Uniform spray, focus on the undersides of leaves, young shoots, flower parts, and fruits; avoid drift onto sensitive crops.
Pre-harvest interval: 14 days for cabbage, 7 days for tea trees; maximum one application per season.
Application conditions: Windless or light wind (< level 3); expected rainfall within 1 hour; avoid high temperatures (>30°C) and intense sunlight periods.
    5. Mixing and resistance management
Mixable with: Can be mixed with emamectin benzoate, dinotefuran, abamectin, bifenthrin, etc., for synergistic effects and expanded spectrum of control.
Not mixable with: Copper-based products, alkaline pesticides (such as Bordeaux mixture, lime sulfur), which can decompose and reduce effectiveness.
Resistance management: Limited to one application per season, rotate with non-METI class pesticides (e.g., chlorantraniliprole, tefluthrin).
    6. Precautions (safety + phytotoxicity)
Sensitive crops: Use cautiously during cucumber, eggplant, tomato, cabbage seedling stages, and melon flowering periods to prevent phytotoxicity (leaf spots, yellowing, growth inhibition).
Environmental safety: Keep away from fish ponds, rivers, and water sources (≥500 meters); prohibited in mulberry orchards, bee farms, and areas with blooming crops.
Personal protection: Wear protective clothing, masks/gloves/goggles; thoroughly wash after applying.
Storage: Seal tightly, store in a cool and dry place (0–6°C), out of reach of children and food.
