Description

Krypton is a colorless, odorless gas. Krypton is chemically reactive under normal conditions; it does not combine with other elements or compounds. When the mixture of krypton and fluorine is subjected to electric discharge at 84k or electron beam irradiation at 123K, KrF2 is formed which is very unstable and rapidly decomposes at 0°C.
