      Product Introduction


    Boron Trifluoride-Phenol Complex (1:2) (CAS:462-05-5,EINECS:207-321-2, HS Code:2812900000) is a red-brown to dark-brown clear liquid with characteristic phenol odor. It is a highly efficient Lewis acid catalyst with a BF₃ content of 25-30%. This complex is soluble in ethers, alcohols and common organic solvents, while insoluble in water. It is widely used in organic synthesis, phenolic resin production, and various chemical reactions requiring strong acid catalysis.

    Packaging & Storage
    Standard packaging: 20kg sealed plastic drums, 180kg steel drums with inner coating to prevent corrosion. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse at 5–25°C. Keep containers tightly sealed and away from heat sources, open flames, water, alcohols and strong oxidants. Avoid direct sunlight exposure and physical impact. Shelf life is 12 months under proper storage conditions.
    Safety Information
    Classified as hazardous substance (UN 3265, Class 8 for transportation). It is flammable, corrosive and toxic by ingestion, inhalation and skin contact. May cause severe chemical burns to skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Use only in well-ventilated area with appropriate engineering controls. Wear acid-resistant gloves, face shield, protective clothing and respiratory protection during handling. In case of contact, immediately rinse affected area with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Complete MSDS is available upon request.
