Lauric Acid (also known as Dodecanoic Acid, CAS:143-07-7,EINECS:205-582-1, HS Code:2915900000) is a white crystalline flake or powder, a saturated medium-chain fatty acid with molecular formula C₁₂H₂₄O₂. We supply food grade, cosmetic grade and industrial grade products complying with FCC, USP and international quality standards. It is soluble in ethanol, ether and organic solvents, slightly soluble in water, with stable chemical properties and excellent surface activity. Widely used as raw material for surfactants, food additives, cosmetic emulsifiers and plastic additives.

Applications
Daily Chemical & Surfactant Industry (Core Application)
Core raw material for producing anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants, including sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sodium lauryl ether sulfate (SLES), lauryl alcohol ethoxylates and betaines. These surfactants are widely used in shampoos, body washes, detergents and cleaning products, providing excellent foaming, detergency and emulsifying properties.
Food & Nutrition Industry
Food grade lauric acid is used as emulsifier and defoamer in processed foods, baked goods, dairy products and confectionery. It is also a natural component of coconut oil and palm kernel oil, used as nutritional supplement in functional foods and dietary supplements.
Cosmetics & Personal Care
Used as emulsifier, thickener and emollient in creams, lotions, lipsticks, hair care products and soaps. It improves product texture, stabilizes emulsion systems, provides moisturizing effect to skin, and enhances product smoothness and spreadability.
Plastic & Rubber Industry
Applied as lubricant, stabilizer and plasticizer in PVC, polyolefin and rubber processing. It improves plastic melt fluidity, reduces processing friction, enhances product surface gloss, and acts as heat stabilizer to improve polymer thermal stability.
Pharmaceutical Industry

Packaging & Storage
Standard packaging: 25kg woven bags or kraft paper bags with inner PE liner; 500kg / 1000kg FIBC bulk bags for large orders. Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated warehouse at 5–30°C. Keep containers tightly sealed, away from heat sources, oxidants and direct sunlight. Shelf life is 24 months under proper storage conditions.
