TB500， It mainly regulates the cytoskeleton by binding to actin, downregulates pro-inflammatory factors to achieve anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects, stimulates endothelial cell differentiation to promote angiogenesis, and activates stem cells such as muscle satellite cells to promote tissue structural reconstruction. It shows significant application potential in the repair of sports injuries, wound healing of skin and cornea, alleviation of chronic arthritis and soft tissue inflammation, as well as regenerative medicine research such as nerve, myocardial,  and liver fibrosis. TB500 is usually available in a freeze-dried powder form. 

I. Core Underlying Mechanism (At the Molecular Level)

The core target is G-actin: 1:1 binds to monomeric actin, stores cytoskeletal building blocks, and rapidly remodels cellular structure upon release of injury signals;

It drives the directional migration of stem cells, enabling reparative cells to rapidly accumulate at the damaged site.

Upregulate VEGF to stimulate neovascularization and supply blood and oxygen to damaged tissues;

Inhibit the NF-κB inflammatory pathway, reduce pro-inflammatory factors such as TNF-α and IL-1, and gently alleviate chronic inflammation.

Inhibits apoptosis, exhibits antioxidant effects, and protects damaged cells from necrosis;

Inhibits excessive collagen deposition and reduces scarring, tissue adhesion, and fibrosis.

1. Intervention in the skeletal and muscular system (the most prominent research focus): Repairing muscle strains, tears, and contusions while accelerating muscle fiber regeneration; Treating tendon and ligament injuries: Achilles tendinitis, patellar tendinitis, rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, and chronic overuse injuries; Alleviating chronic aseptic joint inflammation, stiffness, swelling, and pain; Reducing post-injury muscle/tendon adhesions and hypertrophic masses; Demonstrates superior efficacy for long-standing chronic injuries .

Anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic effects: Provides mild systemic anti-inflammatory action without disrupting the healing process (while conventional analgesics inhibit healing); reduces hepatic fibrosis, soft tissue fibrosis, and organ scarring; alleviates various chronic non-infectious inflammations (including chronic injuries to tendons, skin, and internal organs).

4. Cardiovascular protection (animal models): Used after myocardial infarction or ischemic injury to reduce the area of myocardial necrosis, promote cardiac angiogenesis, protect cardiomyocytes, and lower the risk of heart failure. Only animal studies and limited Phase II clinical trials have been conducted; no human injectable formulation has been approved.

5. Neuroprotection (Basic Research): In models of cerebral concussion and ischemic brain injury, it reduces neuronal apoptosis, promotes neural microcirculation, and alleviates cerebral edema-induced damage; however, no mature clinical treatment protocol has been established for human patients.

6. Follicular/skinal microcirculation (in vitro study): Dilates scalp capillaries and improves follicular blood supply, used in research on adjunctive regeneration for androgenetic alopecia; limited to laboratory data.
