It is intended for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-related steatohepatitis (MASH). Survodutide is a glucagon receptor/glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GCGR/GLP-1R) dual agonist with a unique mechanism of action. The glucagon receptor agonist component of Survodutide increases energy expenditure and directly affects the liver, helping to improve liver fibrosis. The GLP-1 agonist group can effectively reduce appetite and increase satiety at the same time.
