Acetate belongs to the growth factor family and is categorized as a synthetic hexapeptide compound. It functions to promote the release of growth hormone (GH), and importantly, it will not disrupt the body’s inherent capability to synthesize endogenous growth hormone. When observing its molecular structure, the peptide acetate shares many structural similarities with GHRP-6. Nevertheless, there exists a key differentiating feature: it cannot trigger sharp elevation of Ghrelin concentrations. Since Ghrelin is the substance linked to appetite elevation and accelerated gastric emptying, the peptide acetate will not bring about the appetite-boosting effect commonly seen with GHRP-6.

This peptide is classified as a synthetic growth hormone secretagogue, constructed by a chain of six amino acid residues. It carries notable growth hormone-releasing characteristics. Relevant periodical research observations have demonstrated that the peptide can contribute to the reduction of visceral fat levels under experimental conditions.

Similar to other varieties of Growth Hormone Releasing Peptides, the peptide acetate can achieve superior synergistic effects when used in combination with growth hormone-releasing hormone agents.
