Product Introduction

ARA‑290, also known as Cibinetide or pHBSP, is a synthetic 11‑amino‑acid peptide derived from the helix‑B domain of erythropoietin(EPO). It is a non‑hematopoietic EPO analog peptide, without erythropoiesis‑related biological activity. This compound is widely used for pre‑clinical laboratory studies focusing on innate repair receptor signaling, tissue protection, anti‑inflammation and neuronal‑related biological pathways. Mechanism of Action

ARA‑290 selectively targets and activates the Innate Repair Receptor (IRR), a heterodimer complex of EPOR and CD131 receptor. It will not activate the homodimer EPOR which triggers erythropoiesis. After receptor binding, it triggers downstream JAK2‑STAT, PI3K/Akt and MAPK signal cascades in stressed or damaged cell models. It mediates researched biological responses including inhibiting cell apoptosis, regulating inflammatory factor release, improving cell survival under oxidative and hypoxic stress conditions in laboratory research.
