• Adamax (AX10) is an optimized derivative of Semax, a well-known neuropeptide initially developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Chemically, Adamax refers to N‑acetyl Semax conjugated with an adamantyl moiety at the C-terminus, featuring a molecular framework structurally similar to P21.

The N-terminal acetyl group generates stable intermediate N‑Acetyl Semax during metabolic processes, which greatly improves blood-brain barrier permeability and effectively avoids premature peptide degradation inside organisms. The adamantane modification on the C-terminus acts as its core structural advantage, enabling the compound to retain stable bioactivity after penetrating the blood-brain barrier.
