Semax is a synthetic heptapeptide with the sequence Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro (MEHFPGP), developed in Russia in the 1980s as a modified analogue of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) fragment 4-10.
