4-Piperidinecarboxylic acid (1 g, 7.74 mmol) was dissolved in NaOH solution (2 M, 10 mL), and THF (10 mL) solution containing dissolved BOC anhydride (2.53 g, 11.61 mmol) was added slowly under ice bath conditions, the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour, THF was removed by rotary evaporator, the aqueous phase was adjusted to pH 5-6 with dilute hydrochloric acid, then extracted with ethyl acetate, the combined organic phases were dried over anhydrous Na2SO4 and filtered, the filtrate was concentrated by rotary evaporator, and after vacuum drying, the white solid compound 1-Boc-4-piperidinecarboxylic acid (1.78 g, 7.76 mmol, yield 100%) was obtained.Pls input...
