Uses

BTA-S adsorbs on the metal surface to form a thin film to protect copper, brass, bronze and other metals from the atmosphere and harmful media. Adding trace BTA-S in cold water can prevent the migration of copper ions and migrate copper ions It can catalyze the corrosion of aluminum, iron and other metals. Copper ions in the heat transfer medium can cause aluminum pore corrosion. Adding BTA-S to circulating water can prevent copper ion from catalyzing the oxidation of ethylene glycol
