Description

Sincalide is a rapid-acting, synthetic analog of cholecystokinin for intravenous use in postevacuation cholecystography. Sequence: Asp-{SO3H-Tyr}-Met-Gly-Trp-Met-Asp-Phe-NH2.

Sincalide Use and Manufacturing

It is commonly used in clinic to cooperate with and strengthen pancreatic secretion for pancreatic exocrine function examination; using CCK instead of fat meal during cholecystography can promote bowel peristalsis and shorten the time of barium meal examination. It can also be used to treat intestinal paralysis. This product can also treat biliary colic.
