Alogliptin benzoate(SYR 322) is a potent, selective inhibitor of DPP-4 with IC50 of <10 nM, exhibits greater than 10,000-fold selectivity over DPP-8 and DPP-9.IC50 value: <10 nMTarget: DPP4Alogliptin is an orally administered, anti-diabetic drug in the DPP-4 inhibitor class. Alogliptin benzoate Use and Manufacturing

Treatment of type 2 diabetes.This product can maintain the levels of glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulin-promoting polypeptide (GIP) in the body, promote the secretion of insulin, and thus exert a hypoglycemic effect. The results of a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial showed that monotherapy with alogliptin significantly improved glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes compared with placebo, did not increase the incidence of hypoglycemia, and was well tolerated.
