Rosuvastatin calcium is an anti-hyperlipidemia drug. It is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. It was successfully developed by AstraZeneca in the United Kingdom. It is suitable for the treatment of various lipid abnormalities, including hypercholesterolemia and mixed lipids. Qualitative disorders and simple hypertriglyceridemia. Rosuvastatin calcium is a statin with the strongest lipid-lowering effect and the most comprehensive lipid-lowering effect among the currently marketed lipid-lowering drugs.
